How To Believe In Yourself And Your Capabilities Pt 2
It seems so simple, but how is it done? More thoughts for you.
Yes, we have all heard it a hundred times before. It’s even in the Bible, “ If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
But how is it done? How do you get to the point where you actually believe?
This is my second post on this topic as I have been doing more research. My first post can be found here. Let me share with you a few more details I have unearthed.
The Problem
Napolean Hill restates our problem eloquently below. Note that Hill does not use the word “believe”, instead he uses the word “faith”. Personally, I use the two words interchangeably so we are on safe ground.
“All down the ages, the religionists have admonished struggling humanity to have ‘faith in’ this, that, or the other dogma or creed, but they have failed to tell people HOW to have faith….
The method by which one develops FAITH, where it does not already exist, is extremely difficult to describe, almost as difficult, in fact, as it would be to describe the color of red to a blind man who has never seen color, and has nothing with which to compare what you describe to him.”
