Another $300 Drops In My Pocket.

I got it by pressing a button inside my fridge.

I used to play volleyball in a serious way, with a serious team, and with a serious coach. We had a serious goal: we wanted to be champions. We went far.

It was a wonderful road to travel at that time in my young life. But, unfortunately, in the end, we did not claim the championship. As a team and as individuals I can say we all learned some of the greatest lessons of our lives. One great lesson my coach taught me was this, “Good players make their own good luck”. Stated in a couple of other ways:

I Got Lucky

Yesterday was a great day for me. I got lucky. At least, some would call it luck. It’s easy to see someone else’s good fortune and call it luck. So as I look at my good fortune I am going to call it luck because that is the easy thing to do.

The ice maker in my fridge stopped working. It has been a great unit, we have had it for almost ten years now. We use the ice maker a lot, my kids especially really put it through its paces…
