A Millionaire Who Changes His Own Oil?
#3 in the series: Live Like a Millionaire.
I would like to give you a bit of a warning. I am going to have a little fun with this post. Read on…
I believe a lot of people think that just because you are a millionaire you don't get your hands dirty. This post is to debunk that stereotype.
I love to tinker with my car. I just replaced the license plate lights. There are two of these on this vehicle and they both burned out at roughly the same time. I replaced them without tools and while I was on my way doing another errand.
I changed the bulbs in the parking lot of the auto parts store in about five minutes. I love doing that. It is such a simple thing that brings me a lot of satisfaction. I guess I am not like Mick Jagger, I get a lot of satisfaction.
I find it especially gratifying to replace the engine oil in my vehicles as well. The thought of removing the old dirty oil and then replacing it with fresh clean fluid has a lot of symbolism for me.
I bet you are wondering, “Is this guy for real? He finds SYMBOLISM in changing the oil in his old beater car!”
I’m glad you asked… and, yes I do!
